The workshop, held at the Sunlodge Hotel in Accra, brought together youth with disabilities from various Organisations of Persons with Disabilities, Directors of these organisations, and representatives from some Government Institutions. Moses Fordjour, the Monitoring, Evaluation and Knowledge Manager of GFD, facilitated the event.

The workshop was supported by SUMH, an organization based in Denmark that focuses on empowering persons with disabilities. The input and validation process are essential for ensuring that the Youth with Disability Policy accurately reflects the needs and aspirations of young people with disabilities in Ghana.
