Congratulations to Mr. Auberon Jeleel Odoom on His Election as Secretary General of the Africa Disability Forum (ADF)

We are thrilled to announce that at the 2024 General Assembly Meeting of the Africa Disability Forum (ADF), held on September 1st, 2024, in Nairobi, Kenya, our very own Executive Director of Inclusion Ghana, Mr. Auberon Jeleel Odoom, was unanimously elected as the Secretary General to the ADF Executive Council. Mr. Odum’s nomination for the position was unopposed, which was a testament to his unwavering dedication, leadership, and commitment to the advancement of disability rights across the continent.
This achievement is not only a significant milestone for Mr. Odoom but also a moment of immense pride for the entire disability community in Ghana. His new role as Secretary General places him at the forefront of shaping inclusive policies and advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities across Africa for the next four years.
On behalf of the Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations (GFD) and the wider disability community in Ghana, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Auberon Jeleel Odoom.
